Butterfly Valley
The Valley of the Butterflies - also known as Butterfly Valley (Petaloudes in Greek). This is one of the most attractive destinations on the island.
you will be amazed from the Natural beauty of the valley and the walk through it is really worth it.
2nd Stop
Ancient Kamiros
Kamiros is together with Lindos and Ialyssos, the three ancient cities of Rhodes, which in 408 BC all founded together the city of Rhodes which is the capital of the island.
Among other things, ruins of houses were found, the ancient Agora, a Doric temple, ruins of the aqueduct and ruins of the temple of Athena.
Definitely worth a visit!
3rd stop
The castle of Kritinia
Its view is impressive as you can see the island of Halki and further back the coasts of Asia.
Free entrance is totally worth the visit.
4th stop
Empona
Emponas is a hillside village overlooking the steep vineyards and here you will find the mutilated winemakers of Rhodes, many wineries are open for tastings and tours. The tavernas in Empona are famous for local specialties and serve local wine and sumac liqueur, shops offer soaps with olive oil and honey.
5th stop
Siana
From there you can enjoy a perfect view over the west coast of Rhodes and the little islands nearby.
In Siana you can find excellent honey and very nice local wine, definitely worth a taste.
6th stop
The castle of Monolithos
perhaps, the most impressive of Rhodes and is located on a rock 236 m high, overlooking the sea and Halki.
Is very well known as the perfect spot to Enjoy a lovely Sunset!
